I know this is a bit old, but i believe it's one of the best guerrilla ads that have been done... In the summer months, Playboy Magazine was looking for a new Playmate among the girls on the beach. They organized a competition with juries that had to select the future covergirl for the magazine. Just to encourage the girls to participate in the competition, they decided to give them a beach towel, where the girls could lie on and sunbath, looking like they were on the front magazine's page. Very good thinking, to brake the ice, and start thinking of it as a game... helped girls loosen up.

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the sexually provocative ads heralding Tom Ford's fragrance for men. More provocative is the website flash presentation of the fragrance bottle strategically placed around a women's breasts and groin (there's as much buzz about the model's shaved pubic region).

Copyranter loves (hates) Tom Ford ads. We do too. Sort of like the idiocy of Dolce and Gabanna ads, Tom Ford insist on foisting oddly sexual (but not really) imagery upon us in an effort to get us to somehow believe using his products will make our lives better. If getting our nuts violently grabbed by a naked woman with an expression that could kill is his idea of persuasion, it's doing a great job making us run in an entirely opposite direction.
